Ride Description

This is a recovery and/or beginner ride for anyone who has either had a hard weekend of riding and wants a nice relaxed ride through a great neighborhood. If you're new to cycling and need a beginner pace ride in a safe and bike friendly neighborhood, this is the place to be!

Time: 6:00pm for a brief safety talk, directions, and rules of the ride review. Wheels down and rolling at 6:30

Parking: The ride will start from the Northwest corner of Anderson Lane and Shoal Creek with staging in the parking lot area in front, and to the left, of Water 2 Wine. Parking area will be on the left-hand side of the parking lot as you're facing Water 2 Wine.

Distance: One loop is 9.5 miles - All riders will need to stay together during the first loop.

Pace: 12 - 14mph

Loop directions: We will go down Shoal Creek to 38th and take a right turn at the light. Riders will stay to the right and proceed through the stop  light where 38th turns into Bull Creek. Riders will stay on Bull Creek to Hanson St. At Hanson, riders will turn right and head back up to Shoal Creek (less than a mile). Riders will turn left on Shoal Creek and head back to Anderson Lane. This will complete one loop.

If you're interested in 2 or more loops, I will stay and ride with those who want more time in the saddle. If you want to do a loop on your own at a faster pace, you're more than welcome to stay. If no one else is riding at a slower pace, I'll be happy to join you. If you have any questions, give me a call.
