Ride Description
A sunny, but cool (OK -- COLD) start (41F) with moderate south winds.
This is a "B-/C+" paced "no-drop" ride. Please be able to maintain a 15.0 - 16.5 mph pace. for 54 miles.
Riding on some ROUGH Bastrop County "chip-seal" roads --- please air up your tires accordingly, and ride cautiously on Upper Elgin River Road!!
Just 1650 ft. of climbing total on this ride.
Leaving promptly at 10:00 AM. (Maybe even roll out at 9.58 AM !!)
STORE STOP: at mile 24 --- (Citgo Station in Elgin)
Riders required to wear helmets on ALL Bike Austin Rides.
