A pretty scenic country ride from a RURAL starting location (the Coupland, Texas Post Office 78615)!!
NOTE I: We'll be riding by the historic/scenic Lawrence Chapel at mile 12.
NOTE II: We'll be riding on approximately 5 miles of roads that RIDEwithGPS lists as UNPAVED---but they were paved & rideable when we last (1 year ago) ventured to Lawrence Chapel and rode on these roads!!
Only 1876 ft. of climbing---per RIDEwithGPS !
NOTE III: No rest room facilities at the Post Office, but the Post Office is across the street from Coupland's Mart/Station----if you need to use the Citgo Station's REST ROOM FACILITIES, at the ride start, PLEASE make a purchase !!
This is a "B" paced "no-drop" ride. Please be able to maintain a 15.0 - 16.5 mph pace for 54
2 STORE STOPS: at mile 20 in Thrall & at mile 37 in Taylor
NOTE IV: Helmets are required on ALL rides..
