A new route from Dripping Springs to Wimberley avoiding low water crossings and 2325! Ride will head out from Roger Hanks Park in Dripping and head to Wimberley via Pump Station, crossing 2325 to Valley View and Days End. We will come into Wimberley via Fisher Store Rd and River Road. The route is a longer with a bit more climb but it is beautiful! Heads out of Wimberley via Jacob's Well and Mt Gainer.
Store stop is at mile 36 in Wimberley either gas station or HEB. **NOTE, THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR WATER - please plan accordingly.
Shorter route (28 mile version) for those who may not want to go all the way to Wimberley, but short route doesn't have a store stop option
Route skips the low water crossing and hoping any rain doesn't change the situation. If it does, will post cancellation and reschedule for following week.
Ride with GPS shows about 2900 ft of climb. The new roads add some climb but nothing harder than the previous route.
Please note: route attached is for 57 miles and is the "direct" version back to park. I plan on taking the slightly longer way home via Pursley and it adds the additional miles to get 60.
Meet at the park at 7:45 for wheels down at 8:00. AM
