Ride Description

Riding from Hutto { at 400 Park Ave}:  An EARLY start, to "Beat-the-Heat",  as we start out on a mostly rural north,  east, & south route, before turning west to return to the start location.

We'll be riding from Hutto; north to Weir then going east past the Weir Castle & the BIG "Rooster", before going south & further east into Circleville & Waterloo,  Then continuing to peddle south into Taylor, before riding west, by the new Samsung Plant, on our way back to Hutto.

A quiet scenic  "half- century" ride from Hutto's 400 Park Ave. .  Riding on some "vintage" Williamson County chip-seal roads; so air up your tires accordingly.

This will be a "B-/C+" no-drop ride.  Please come expecting/capable to ride at a 15.0 - 16.5 mph pace for 51 miles.

Leaving promptly at 6:30 AM.  (Maybe even "roll-out" at 6:28 !)

THREE (3) "QUICK" STORE STOPS:  at 12 miles in Weir, at 24 miles (Circleville's Exxon), & at 40 miles (South end of Taylor on 95)

Just 1264 ft. of climbing, per RIDEwithGPS.

Helmets required on ALL our rides.

Maybe early lunch in Hutto after the ride ?

Please check this sight on the ride morning,  before you leave home, for any possible cancellation.
